Norfolk Island Pine

The boughs are drooping and some are turning brown. Haven’t watered in a while but the soil is still damp. Thought I would make a tent over it for more humidity. It is 2 ft away from a south facing window. I have misted the branches. It looks very sad. The temp in the room is 50-60.

It’s difficult to know for sure what may be ailing your plant without actually seeing the plant, but, generally, you’ll want to give the plant as much direct sunlight as you can and keep the plant away from drafty locations. A shallow tray of pebbles filled with water and set under the pot (not allowing that water to be absorbed into the soil) bring the humidity up better (and looks much better) than trying to wrap the plant up in a tent.
