No Blooms on Zucchini

I have zucchini planted in a wine barrel. It produced 3 zucchini and now there are no more blooms. My cucumbers have tons of blooms, next to zucchini. The zucchini foliage was yellow, and I added some organic vegetable fertilizer. My husband says the wine barrels may be ‘acidic’. Any suggestions on how to improve productivity?

If it is a problem of not getting any flowers, I would recommend adding some phosphorus to the soil. This article will help with that:
