Q.Night scented Jasmine is turning yellow and dropping leaves

Zone UK | SueW added on May 5, 2019 | Answered

It was thriving in the porch last summer and through to Feb/March when leaves started going pale in patches then yellowing. Even the new growth is now showing pale patches. I don’t think I’m over/under-watering so what could be? No sign of any bugs etc.

I see what looks to be calcium, and magnesium deficiencies. DOLOMITIC lime will be the best bet here. This and an amendment of, either, compost, or an all purpose fertilizer will be of quite a bit of help, at least once per year, and up to three.

If it is a liquid fertilizer, then feed once every 1 or 2 months, following all instructions on the package.

I potted it into ericaceous compost a few months ago but still losing leaves - so should I add some dolomitic lime too? Thanks so much for your help.
