Newly Planted Bell Pepper

I brought bell pepper plants home from the feed store, planted them, and they seemed to take fine for about 5 days. Now I am noticing that the leaves are beginning to turn white in places, and they don't look so strong. What's happening? (Sandy top soil, box gardening, first water bath created moisture almost 6 inches down.)

It sounds like the feed store did not properly acclimate them and they are suffering from sunscald, which is like a sunburn for plants. They should recover on their own, but you can treat them like they have transplant shock to help them recover better. This article tell how to treat plants with transplant shock:
