Q.New zucchini and cucumber plants have extremely small first leaves
I have planted cucumber and a variety of squash plants directly in plants with good soil. All of the seeds I planted have sprouted and are starting to grow but the first leaves are extremely small. Is this due to a nutrient deficiency or?

It is likely lack of adequate sunlight.
Increase the amount of light or even use a grow light to help them.
