New Sod Installation

Question

I have over fertilized my lawn. I have a company that is going to shovel the old dead grass with alot if weeds out rototill the old soil. Then add new soil and sod.. will this work. For new grass and no weeds

That will work for new grass but you will probably still get a few weeds.
