New leaves on my swiss cheese turn out black

I’ve had a Swiss Cheese plant for about 3 months now. We bought it mature from a garden centre and it seems to be doing really well. There’s just one small problem. When a new leaf starts to come out, it comes out black and dry, and then drops off. I was wondering if there was anything I could do for this not to happen!

Thanks, Ed

It may need more humidity. A pebble tray filled with water placed under the pot should help.
