How do I know the bulbs newly planted are still there. I have planted polianthes tuberosa and they are not shooting yet

If you just planted this spring it is too early for them to come up. They don't bloom till summer. So it could be another month before they sprout. Be sure they are planted in full sun in well draining soil. Water and fertilize regularly.

The only way to know if they are still there is to remove the dirt above them, but you don't want to disturb them while they are putting down roots.
