New Bird of Paradise leaves are black

I have an indoor BOP that has only flowered once with orange flowers. It’s in a sunroom with lots of light and is sprouting new leaves. Some of them are light green with light yellow lines while three new leaves are coming out completely black. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

It might be too close to the window. Sometimes leaves turn black and curl up when the plant is too cold. It prefers warm temps between 65 and 75 degrees. That particular leaf looks like it was touching the window pane.
