Q.need low growing, cascading, flowering plant for zone 10a

Zone 10a Encinitas, CA | Anonymous added on March 31, 2020 | Answered

I want to plant something about 12 inches out from the base of a 5 foot tall Kentia palm and have it cascade down the front of a stone block wall. The wall is in full sun 3/4 of the day, then shade last 1/4 of the day. I don’t want to attract bees. Ideas?
THANK YOU!!!!

A tropical vining plant would work. Something like mandevilla, fuchsia, jasmine, cascading begonia. However, to avoid bees you might like colorful foliage instead of flowers, such as sweet potato vines.
