Q.Need Help With Dwarf Sunflower

Zone Greystanes | BizzyQuin added on August 23, 2018 | Answered

Hello!

Hope whoever is reading this is well 🙂

So I bought dwarf sunflower seeds. They get full sunlight all day on my window sill. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong? The biggest bud started started to bloom but the petals were so dry and when I touched each petal they fell off. I’ve circled it in red. The other buds in my other picture are finally starting to grow yellow petals and I’m worried they’ll all fall off too.

Does anyone know what I’ve done wrong or how I could bring them back to life?

Full sunlight indoors is likely not enough sun for your plants.
These plants need 6 plus hours of direct full sunshine.

If you can't move them outdoors you could add a grow light to add additional grow time.
