Natural pesticides

Can I use a mild dish soap to spray on my peach trees to keep insects away? If not, what would be best? Also, how can I keep small animals from eating the ripened fruit?

Yes you can use mild dish soap.As for the small animals I use a net to put over my Saskatoon berry bush’s as if I don’t the birds get to them. If that doesn’t work I guess you’ll have to try to beat them to it, good luck
