Q.Myrtle Tree
just purchased two myrtle trees (from GA) that were delivered to me in Mississippi. Instructions state for 1st week keep them in cool dry place, water once a day but don’t over water. First of all there is no cool place in MS and i cannot have them in the house with cats. When is it ok to plant these outdoors as indicated on the instructions as to how to plant the trees.. is it harmful to plant now with winter coming on and if so, how do i keep the plants alive and healthy until spring when its safe to plant? Also have oleanders that I’ve planted in small pots on my patio. same question as to when to plant outdoors safely back yard is basically full sun and would plant in front of the wetlands
