Q.my zucchini plant is being attacked

Zone i don't know | dvalaskovic added on July 14, 2012 | Answered

My zucchini plant is being attacked by something at the root that is above ground. Also, some of the zucchini’s have turned yellow and deteriorate. A while back I thought I heard of a disease killing thing that you had to look for when you purchsed some insect killing thing you bought at the store. Can you tell me what this is and where I can buy it?

Place either egg shells or broken sea shells around the roots (says my husband the vegetable gardener) - it helps keep the creepy crawly bugs away so they don't cross them - or they'll get sliced - for those "brave bugs"!

We try to use natural ways in the veggie garden to ward off these pests.

Good luck!
