Zone 3444 | Anonymous added on April 28, 2023 | Answered

I bought it about a year ago. It was already quite tall maybe 2mtrs and hadn’t started weeping but I was told it would. It hasn’t.

It's not going to weep. It should have had weeping stems before it was sold. Is it possible to contact the seller and let them know they didn't sell you a weeping tree? It also looks like it has some curled leaves and spots on the leaves. It's either a standard cherry tree or it was once a weeping tree that was taken over by the rootstalk (grafted trees have a rootstalk that is different from the canopy tree).

In a weeping tree, any upright branches are removed as they occur.
