My Venus Flytrap Won’t Germinate

Question

I watered it everyday with clean distilled water, it’s been two months and it just wont sprout. Though i did get too excited and forgot to boil the moss. Is that why?

Normally, the seeds germinate very quickly. You may have gotten dead seeds that were not stored properly. They must remain moist, consistently.

I do not boil my moss. I do soak it, but I have not found the need to boil it. It will work just fine the way it is.
