My Squash plant gets mushy and dies quickly.

After less than a month after my squash and cucumber plants start producing, the plants gets mushy and dies quickly. Every year.

There are so many different varieties of pests and fungus, if both squash and cucumbers are mushy every year, I would suggest taking a leaf, stem, fruit and soil sample to your local extension service or a local nursery to get a definitive diagnosis.
