Q.My Snowball Tree Had Damaged Leaves Last Year. It Looked Like Insects Had Eaten Holes In The Leaves And The Whole Thing Looked Unh
ealthy. What preventive measures could I take now to prevent this from happening this year? I don’t have pictures.

Since there aren't any photos of the damage, we will have to look at a few different things. You'll need to know if it is truly insect damage, or if there is a bacterial/fungal infection present. Sometimes, it can be both. There are fungicides, and insect treatments that work well. I use azadirachtin and pyrethrum for insects most often. They are natural substances and do a good job at insect control.
