Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comIt was in garden but we had to put in pot whilst we had our drive and garden redone. It has been in pot for a couple of months. We have planted it back out in the garden, but it has lost its compact bushy appearance. What should I do?

Go ahead and prune your skimmia plant in early spring before it produces new growth. The other ideal time to prune is when the plant is dormant in winter. Here's an article that will help:
