Q.My Rose Leaves Are Burnt And Yellow. Why?
I live in arizona and my rose is in a bit of shaded but not too much. I just planted her(type…pinata) about a month ago and it doesnt look good. She gets good water for our summer heat. Help!

Your newly planted rosebush does not have her root system established well enough yet to take up the amount of water needed for the hot days. I have used white or light colored umbrellas before to provide some shade for newly planted roses, during the hotter times of the day. They still get some morning sun but the umbrellas are placed such that they shield the roses from the intense sun at the times of day when it is most intense. I tied the handle of the umbrella to a stake driven into the ground to anchor them. White or light colored so as reflect the sun and its heat. A dark colored umbrella attracts and radiates the heat making things worse. When watering your rosebush, which is now heat stressed and in shock, add a product called Super Thrive to the water and some Root Stimulator in the same watering can water. Water her with a fresh batch of this water mix the next 5 to 6 times she needs watering. The Super Thrive helps her deal with the stress and shock. The root stimulator helps her get her root system going and established.
