Q.my red raspberries did not bear fruit this summer, why?
I don’t have the everbearing type. Last year I had a good crop. This year I didn’t have but a few berries. Why?

This has been a difficult growing season for gardeners. If you are getting flowers with no fruit, this is typically a pollination issue. These articles may help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/beneficial/insect-pollination-process.htm

If you are not seeing any flowers, then it is likely due to a lack of phosphorus in the soil. This can be remedied by using a phosphorus rich fertilizer or adding bone meal to the soil around your plants.
