flowers? 1 . One plant is in shade and growing up into trees to sun; the other is in full sun. Next, I will twist it tightly around a tall pole with the old idea of toughing-up a plant will make it bare. Why don’t my Rangoon Creepers ever make flowers. I will cut one back by a third and twist it around the pole as I was told. Can you help me?

Our experts say to avoid fertilizers that are high in nitrogen, as these will give you a lot of greenery but will not encourage blooming. Also, this plant is tropical. Your environment, although hot, may not be have enough humidity.

Also, if these are young plants, you may simply need to give them time to mature before they'll bloom.
