Q.My pyracantha is looking yellowish

Zone 96080 | Anonymous added on September 29, 2019 | Answered

This year it has loads of berries. They are really small and just clustered. However, it seems they never grew. Now they are looking yellow. Do they get yellow before turning red? The birds love them. I was hoping for a great harvest for them this year. Year two of my new pyracantha. It is on the west side full sun.

Thank you
Marilyn

Did your shrub have berries last year? The berries can be yellow, orange or red depending on the variety.
