Q.My Prosperity Plant Has One Twist That Has Become Wrinkled And Soft.Why?
I was given it as a gift. I did repot it a month ago. I used soil from a planter I had outside. The wire was on it when I received it.

It could have a fungal infection or is overwatered. Using old soil can be problematic as it may have disease organisms and/or is depleted of nutrients. The best soil is one similar for cacti/succulents. The ties also may be too tight. You can remove them or loosen them. If one of the trunks dies, you should remove it carefully so it doesn't infect the other trunks. These articles should help:
