Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI made mistakes early on in the care of this plant but it has grown a lot in the past year. The growth is good at the top but not at the bottom, and so the branches are weighing the plant down. Please help me restore its health for longevity! thank you in advance.

It looks like it could use just a little bit more light. These Coleus will get a bit leggy when they need light. If full sunlight from a window is not enough, you may need to invest in an indoor plant light.
As for pruning. You can do this at any time indoors. It will recover just fine. They are very hardy, and the more you trim them, the bushier they get.
