my plant is sick

I have an pothos plant that has white sticky looking substance on it. I don’t know what to do for it.

Your pothos has probably been attacked by mealy bugs. You’ll need to clean these off, then spray weekly for 4 weeks, directing the spray up onto the undersides of the leaves, and down into the junction of leaf stems and main stems. Protect the soil from washing away, then hold under hot running water (as hot as your hands can take will be safe for the leaves, but death to the bugs,) or dip the foliage into a pot of hot water. Let the plant drain, and spray. Following you will find an article on different sprays to use. Be sure to spray not only the plant leaves but also the pot, under the pot, the floor or table nearby – the mealies can get into everything, if the infestation is heavy.
