Q.My Pinetree Is Dying -help

Zone 85718 | Anonymous added on June 8, 2023 | Answered

When I noticed the needles turning brown, I started weekly deep watering. The lower branches are dead,I can snap them in two without any effort. I wonder if I am too late and should stop watering?

Pine trees suffer months to years before they show the damage. So, it has been struggling for a while. If you can easily snap off the branches, it is probably history. It wouldn't hurt to water occasionally, in case it makes a comeback.
