Q.My Pineapple Slips Or Pops Don’t Have Any Slips Or Pops After Producing A Pineapple

Hi I have 2 suckers from the mother Pineapple plant that produced a pineapple–yet small.  However BOTH sucker plants have no sucker or slips or pups.  1- what should I do the the plant now? 2- will they “do” anything like produce a sucker or slip or another pineapple? 3- is this  plant one for the trash?

The mother plant was done and the suckers appear to be done as well. To keep pineapples coming, you can alternate new plants with the ratoons. Here is more:
