My Outside Plant Leaves Suddenly Turned Brown During Freeze. Is Plant Dead?

freeze in Georgia in december. My bush leaves turned brown overnight. It is an evergreen. What happened?

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. This can be a normal response in some evergreens to sudden freezing weather, though. Usually, this isn't deadly for the tree.
