Q.My newly potted and bought peace lily’s leaves are turning black. It is not black spots but the entire leaf turns black including
new growth. What is causing this and how can I treat it?

The problem with your peace lilies may be due to overwatering or, perhaps, to being exposed to a cold environment. Another possibility is a fungus or blight, which would require treatment with some type of fungicide. You may want to take one of the blackened leaves to a local nursery or extension service for help in determining the best remedy.
