My neighbor brought this over to see if I knew what it was and I don’t so I’m sending it to you guys

It kind of looks like corn but it’s not it has some sort of bulb or tuber that is in the ground and she said they got real real tall last year anyway we would appreciate help to determine what it is. Thank you hold on Sammy Samsung
