Q.My multiple variety cherry tree has not produced many cherries. Lots of bloom, but they dry up and fall off. The tree is 4 to 5
years old. It does have canker that I am trying to control. Has come back for 3 years. Should I cut the tree down.

It is likely a combination of issues. I do believe that the canker has a bit to do with the problem. This could, likely, be a fungal issue which can prevent proper fruitset.
