Did you buy the mini rose at a super market or big discount store? If so, the marketing people see to it that the pots in those stores actually have more than one mini rose in the pot. Sometimes as many as five to six mini rosebushes will be packed into a single pot as it makes them look fuller and when in bloom they truly look awesome! The problem is, once folks buy them and get them home the multi mini rosebushes finish blooming and the plants seem to just sit there. Then all at once one or more of the little bushes starts to die by its leaves turning yellow and falling off. The best thing a person can do is to take them all out of that single pot and place them in their own pots or plant them out in the rose bed or garden areas outside. This will give them room to spread out and grow, it will relieve the bushes of having their root systems jammed into too small a place for that many bushes. Even three bushes in a small pot is too many. I believe this could be the problem you are having. If you bought the mini rose as a single at a nursery or greenhouse and it is nice and green and loaded up with healthy looking foliage, it could be that the rosebush is getting too much nitrogen in its food or within its soils. Too much nitrogen produces lots of healthy foliage and either no or limited blooms.
