Q.My Meyer Lemon Tree Has Two Trunks And I Think One Trunk Is From A Sucker Because It Doesn’t Produce Fruit And The Other Trunk

Zone Browns Valley CA | amatofarm added on November 13, 2020 | Answered

does. Can I cut off the non producing truck without hurting this tree? In the picture you can see the left side has some fruit but it’s the size of basketballs because that side starts growing a few but very early in the year and stay green and the right side grows normal. Will it hurt this tree to cut the left trunk away?

No, it shouldn't hurt it, but wait till all the fruit is harvested before pruning.
