Q.My Mexican Key Lime Tree Started Growing Larger Fruit That Started Turning Orange As It Ripened. Could It Be Getting This From An Adj
acent orange tree? I have a potted Valencia orange tree 3’ away.
The key lime is healthy and has been productive of key limes of standard size.

The nearby fruit tree shouldn't affect your key lime tree. Usually when off-looking fruit arises, it's because the grafted tree is producing limbs. Check your graft line. If any branches are growing below it, remove them. You should regularly check for any errant branches below the graft and promptly remove them before they reach full size.
