My Large Fritillaria Bulb Fell apart

My mother just bought and gave me two giant fritillaria bulbs. One of them fell apart (separated). What should I do? I am in zone 6, southwestern Ohio.

This is ok. You can plant the two halves and it should grow 2 plants. This is a normal way these plants reproduce and you just got more than you paid for. 🙂
