Q.My kumquat tree did not flower

Zone Elizabethtown PA | lorizmmerman added on July 2, 2015 | Answered

I have a potted kumquat tree that I received a year ago. It was fruiting and continued to fruit throughout the summer. I brought it inside over the winter and it is thriving with a beautiful canopy of leaves. I have applied a hybrid fertilizer that has a bit of synthetic and a lot of organic plus beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi about every 4 to 6 weeks. I moved it back outside after frost and it is still beautiful but not flowering or bearing fruit. Any suggestions?

Kumquats do not like to be root bound.
It may need to be repotted into a larger pot.
