My knockouts were full of blooms and now they are gone

My knockouts were full of blooms and now they are gone! Have little holes in the leaves! They are about 5 years old! No beetles, so what can it be?

The blooms being gone could be the end of the bloom cycle unless the petals look like they have been eaten on. If they have, plus damage to the foliage could be Bud Worm. Or some other worms attacking the foliage at night, disappearing by daylight usually hiding under the foliage/leaves. Here is a link to an article about the bud worms : https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/roses/budworms-roses.htm [1]
The same things noted in the article to control them will control similar pests as well.
