Q.My Japanese Maple Is Losing Its Leaves

Anonymous added on September 13, 2012 | Answered

My Japanese maple is losing its leaves and I wonder if it is dying. It’s not a year old yet. What can I do to help it? It’s not completely dead. There are some small leaves around the base of it. It is a Crimson Queen Japanese maple.

It may simply be in need of addtional watering. As long as the branches are still alive (green inside and pliable), the tree should regow its leaves.
