Q.jade plant rapidly losing leaves

Zone michigan | roseb added on December 7, 2013 | Answered

My jade plant is rapidly losing leaves and then the end of the branch shrivels. I believe I have overwatered it and the pot it’s in doesn’t have drain holes, so should I repot it in a pot with drain holes and add some perilite and light sand to soak up the excess moisture? Please help. I can’t lose this plant. What do I do to save it, as it’s rapidly dying?

Yes, it does sound like root rot. I would treat for root rot and also take cuttings of the plant in case your efforts to save the plant fail. These articles will help with both:
