Q.My Indoor Hypoestes Has Holes In Leaves, They Appeared Within A Few Days On Each And Every Leaf.
Hi guys, I am worried about my two polka dot plants. They are hanging out with other exclusively indoor and older plants that are perfectly healthy, and yet, within a few days both of the plants started showing the same symptoms. It starts with a hole in the leaf (i thought my cat chewed it up, or some insect), however it spread very quickly to other leaves and as the holes spread, the leaves are disappearing. It looks like it’s being eaten, but I think it might even be some infection as it’s spreading uncontrollably fast. How can I help them? Thank you ??

This is, definitely, some kind of insect. Unfortunately, it can be very difficult to say which without catching it in the act.
Fortunately, most pesticides, even natural, will take care of the issue. A hard pruning will help, as well.
These plants are very hardy and enjoy constant pruning.
