Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. This sounds like an infection setting in! You may need to treat with a fungicide, and correct watering habits if they receive extra water outside of rain. Make sure to let the soil dry out, thoroughly, down to about 2 inches or so between watering. Alternatively, rain water will usually be enough to sustain them.
