Hibiscus Plants

Q.My hibiscus plant is flowering but the leaves are yellowing and shriveling

The plant is in afternoon sun in a pot. What am I doing wrong, and can I save the plant?

It may have a fungus. Trim away any yellow growth and then treat the plant with a fungicide. Also, make sure that it gets enough water (since it's potted and in the sun) but not too much. If the soil feels dry about an inch or so down, give it water. Otherwise, let it be. If the yellow leaves continue, this article will have other suggestions:
