My hibiscus has leaves that are turning yellow!

My hibiscus has leaves that are turning yellow! What does it need? My hibiscus are planted in the front flowerbed. They are about three years old but recently the leaves on two of them have started to turn yellow and have lost some leaves and are thinning. Do they need iron or potassium or what?
