My grass

Hi there. My garden is north-ish facing which means in the winter it doesn’t get any sun. I think because of this the garden doesn’t dry out and I, therefore, get lots of patches of clover type growth which is taking over the grass. What can I do to prevent this, if anything, and how do I refresh the grass come spring? Thanks a mil. Dave

I believe that you are correct. It can be very difficult to get rid of the clover, as it is a legume, and will spread underground. This makes it hard to eradicate. It may come down to reseeding every spring, to make sure the clover has too much competition, and that it cannot survive.
