Gardenia Buds

Question

My Gardenia has buds that turn partially brown before opening and when the flower opens, is part brown and part white.

This is typically caused by a lack of humidity or an environment change. If it is a houseplant, place it on a pebble tray to increase humidity. If it is a plant in the ground, likely the weather has done this and it should correct itself shortly.
