gardenia bushes have black mold

Question

My gardenia bushes have black mold or something on the top of the leaves and little white specks (bugs) on the bottom. What do I use to get rid of this? Also, what is best to fertilize the bushes? They did bloom and I have cut them back now.

Aphids or Scale are your most likely issues.
Neem Oil is a good choice.
