Gardenia Plants

Q.My gardenia plant is indoors (NY) doing very well in a south & west facing window. Do I have to take it outside for the summer?

The plant is blooming now. – it is quite large and heavy to move.

Glad it is doing so well! Yes, your gardenia can grow indoors, year round. I would not move it while it is doing well and blooming.
