My elephant ears are looking droopy and turning yellow

I just bought the plant about a week ago and have not had a chance to transplant to garden. Should I keep in a planter or place in a partially shaded location?

Yellowing leaves generally indicates water concerns. Either to much or to little.

Most likely the plant needs water. It may be root bound and need moisture. When temperatures reach 85 degrees and higher you will need to water twice a day.

Your plant will love full sun but can be in partial shade. Protect it from the hottest part of the day until you transplant.
