Q.My dwarf Jade has weak leaves

Zone Monterey bay | Jonathoon_g added on October 5, 2019 | Answered

So I’ve had this dwarf Jade/elephants bush with me for a year or two now and I’m really proud of it! But I recently moved to college and I went from a warmer area to a more cold coastal climate. The thing is I have always grown this plant indoors through its entire life and it’s done fine but here in the dorms, we don’t have a heater and it’s starting to get colder and I really don’t want this plant to die what do I do? Some leaves are very weak while some are strong and there is still new growth Im just scared.

The easiest thing that you could do here will be to find a cheap horticultural light. Grow lights will solve both problems that it is having now. It will raise the temperature around it some, and it will give it a little more light.

This article will help you to care for the plant: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/jade-plant/jade-plant-care.htm
